Greg and Karla and the girls weren't able to make it but Ben had a great time playing with Brayden, Indigo and Zander and Jacob enjoyed some McCarthy snuggle time with his grandparents and aunty's!
There was an awesome Easter Egg hunt downstairs in Jon's parents new place and some of the eggs were so well hidden that it took us adults awhile to find them!
After having the day before as a practice run, Ben knew just what to do! With a little bit of help from the cousins he found all of his eggs and sat down to line them up. He opened one up to eat the candy out but didn't go overboard until he was left alone in the living room and I found him stuffing his face with jelly belly's that were left out on the coffee table :) Goes to show that they're usually up to something when they're quiet for a long period of time!

Jacob was doing a TON more smiling that day and was looking extra dressed up from church so I had to get some photos of him propped up on the couch! I think he's going to be our 'big boy!'
Here are some shots of Ben/Jacob with Grandma or 'Gramma Gramma' as Ben often refers to her and Jon's dad.
Aunty Jenn got some snuggles in too and I figured, even though Jon doesn't seem to care about photos, it'd be nice to have a pic of him and his sister for the scrapbooks! I hope that one day Jon will appreciate that I documented this very busy, but very blessed stage of our lives ;)
Thanks McCarthy's for a great celebration. It was great to see you all and thank you for the gifts as well! Looking forward to more great family celebrations in just a few weeks.
