Here's my handsome little guy:

Jacob has been doing really well on his tummy, possibly because his neck is so strong, so I was able to get some better angles!

The outfit he's wearing was supposed to be for a 6 month old but our giant boy is fitting it already!

This photo below is one of my absolute favorites! It really shows how incredibly happy Jacob is as a baby and, even though we were supposed to have given birth to a girl last June, I feel incredibly grateful that Jacob is the little guy who we get to know and love right now. God's timing is perfect and, though one little one is no more precious than another, now that we know Jacob, we feel blessed to have him in our lives.

Ben doesn't pose for nearly as long when we're in our house and he has all his toys around but here are a few of him!

For a 2 1/2 year old Benjamin is a pretty cautious kid and has come out fairly unscathed in terms of bumps and bruises. He had one bump on the stairs a few months back and then decided to add one to the list on Saturday night while we were out at the park.
We probably should have suspected something might happen as it was already past his bedtime but we wanted to take a trek to the park because the weather was so beautiful.
Jon and Ben were playing tag up and down the playground apparatus and Ben missed the platform on the way up to the slide and smacked his face right on it. Thankfully I didn't see him hit his face but I heard him crying and saw, what looked like a little scrape at first. It didn't take very long for it to start swelling up but our little trooper wanted to keep playing so we let him play for a bit before coming home.
When we got home the worst part was trying to get Ben to allow us to put ice on it, especially with him crying' I'm all done' in between sobs and tears. That part broke my heart!
Here's a quick shot of our 2 1/2 year old and his playground war wound :)

Overall it was a great last day of the month. Birthday Party, PhotoShoot, Trip to the Park and even the playground catastrophe didn't set us back too much :)
