Birthdays these days are an awesome excuse for friends to get together and we were so happy to join the Koogers at their place in Abbotsford celebrating Joel's birthday with delicious hamburgers and other snacks. Ali has tons of nieces (some of them shown in the bottom right picture) (and a nephew) and a lot of their friends, including us, bring at least one or two kids as well so it was kid mania but so much fun. Here are a few of the party-goers.

Ben & Caden really love hanging out and this 'kids' table that Joel's brother set up was adorable. I still find it so strange that Ben's almost old enough to sit by himself at the kids table. He looks so grown up :)



Ali's friend Kirsten's has three kids and, her youngest, Indy, is the one Ben seems to be flirting with here :) I love the picture at the bottom left and the expression on Indy's face. I also love that her big brother seems to be keeping an eye on Ben in the top two pictures and then Caden comes to break up the love birds in the fourth picture. Kids are incredibly amusing :)

Thanks so much Ali and Joel for having us over and for being so hospitable all the time. We think you're blessed in that area for sure and are always very happy to be on the receiving end of your hospitality. Looking forward to more birthdays, more parties and more fun with you guys!
