I saw these backpacks in a store awhile ago and fell in love with them. They're so cute and have matching lunch bags and plate/bowl sets that are just as cute.
With the thoughtful gift from my family, I went out and bought the owl set for Benjamin and the Zebra set for Jacob when he gets older. Ben loves his little backpack and, the first time I showed it to him, he wore it around the house proudly that whole weekend.
He loves to put the straps on 'by himself' and always carries an assortment of toys/snacks for our outings!
Thanks so much Uncle Joey and Aunty Erika for your generosity. Ben, Jacob, Jon and I all appreciate it and we hope you enjoy these photos! (We will be sure to post more when Jacob gets old enough to wear his :) )
We had just got home from a fun outing with our friends in Abbotsford and he was starting to get just a little tired :)
I can't believe how old he's looking these days! Before we know it he'll be off to school :(
I think these ones below are some of my favorites. You can tell I've just told him to say something funny to try to get him to smile and it seems to have worked ;)
Heading down the stairs 'all by himself.' I seem to be hearing that phrase a lot these days!
Back at home before bed, Ben wanted to get some snuggles with his brother. Just the other day, I went into our room and Ben was on the bed with his arms under Jacob talking to him and trying to lift him up. When I asked him to leave his brother alone, he informed me that Jacob wanted him to pick him up. Hmmm....already blaming things on his little brother!
Thanks again Uncle Joey and Aunty Erika and hopefully you and our other family on the island that we don't get to see too often can keep up with the boys as they grow and change through these photos. Love you lots!
